The following is a list of the people who were booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center for Thursday, September 28, 2017:

Tracy Mears, 49, 221 Johns Circle, Ragley, LA was arrested on September 27, 2017 at 8:02 am for operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. A deputy investigating a 2 vehicle crash on US Highway 90 in Amelia found that one of the drivers, Mears, had a suspended license. Mears was released on a summons to appear in court on December 1, 2017.

Irvin Nolan, 36, 515 Augustine Maze Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 27, 2017 at 6:40 am for traffic control signal violation and operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. A deputy patrolling LA Highway 182 in Franklin observed a vehicle fail to stop at a traffic light. The deputy stopped the vehicle, identified the driver as Nolan, and found that he was driving with a suspended license. Nolan was released on a summons to appear in court on December 1, 2017.

Soutthanou Siripannho, 37, 518 Brooke Drive, New Iberia, LA was arrested on 6:57 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, no motor vehicle inspection, and failure to honor written promise to appear. A correctional deputy transported Siripannho from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. Siripannho was released on a $299.50 bond.

Ronald Armond, 45, 248 Murial Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA was arrested on September 28, 2017 at 2:21 am for the following offenses:

-     Resisting an officer (giving false information)

-     Possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute

-     Possession of Schedule II (Xanax)

-     Possession of drug paraphernalia

Jeremy Lodrigue, 45, 148 Highway 663, Bayou L’Ourse, LA was arrested on September 28, 2017 at 2:21 am for possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule II (Xanax), and possession of drug paraphernalia.Deputies responded to a call for service regarding a suspicious person and possible shoplifter at a store in Bayou Vista. During the investigation, deputies made contact with Lodrigue and Armond at a hotel in Berwick. Deputies received consent to search Lodrigue’s room and found 2 bags of methamphetamine, Xanax pills, a razor blade, and a digital scale. Deputies collected evidence that the illegal drugs belonged to Lodrigue and Armond. They also found that Armond had identified himself by a false name. Lodrigue and Armond were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
