As we reported last week, thousands of young people from around the world were among those demonstrating in Washington, DC for the National Right To Life March.

Locally, the student ministry group from St. Thomas More Catholic High School marched with supporters as part of a Pro-Life Pilgrimage lead by Lance Strother and Father Russo from Our Lady of Fatima Church in Lafayette. The group spent time in the Washington area and then visited the 9/11 memorial in New York City.

Ani Begnaud was one of the students on the trip and joined 'Acadiana's Morning News' to talk about her experience. She called it "inspiring" and "heart changing".

This year's march was the 44th annual event to bring awareness to the issue.
