  • Silverbacks Improv Theatre Kids/Teen Camp
    Participants will learn basic improv fundamentals, prop design, and how to create stories without a script. Kids camp for grades 3rd-6th. Teen camp for grades 7th-12th. Participants must bring their own lunch, or money to buy lunch from nearby locations. Cost is $200 per.

    Little dancers are invited to join Angelina Ballerina and her friends for four days of slumber party fun. Based on the book Angelina’s Sleepover, this summer camp gets students dancing and singing as they study and learn choreography and lyrics to an Angelina Ballerina song. Angelina Ballerina and her passion for ballet influence related activities across other art forms too, and students learn lessons about making good choices, working hard, and taking care of their bodies from this stupendous mouse.

    Using the Leap 'N Learn curriculum, children will be become a ballet princess of their own and explore movement through creative expression and pre-ballet/ballet exercises. They further experience being a ballet princess through daily activities in the applied arts and viewing of clips from different professional ballet productions.

  • Movin' at the Zoo 1 & 2

    Camp 2: June 25th-28th, 9 am-11 am, $125, Ages 5-6
    These camps include jazzy moves with lots of tumbling! Children will travel to a specific animal habitat which will serve as the introduction to basic gym and dance movement exercises and lots of creative movement. Their knowledge of each animal studied will be further enhanced by daily art and/or craft activities. Valuable lessons about taking turns and sharing are also incorporated.   • TCH Dance and Cheer Camp
    Teurlings Catholic High School is offering summer camps for athletic youth. Have an aspiring dancer, or young cheerleader-to-be? TCH's Rebel Revue and Cheerleader Camp caters to grades pre-k through 8th grade and takes place in Teurlings High's Gymnasium.
    Dance camp is from 9 am until noon, followed by cheer camp from 1 pm until 4 pm. It is $100 for one camp, $180 for both, and covers t-shirts and awards.

  • TCH Basketball Camp for Champs
    Teurlings Catholic High School is offering sports-related camps to hone the skills of young athletes during their off time. Features of this camp include daily fundamentals and shooting drills, free throw & hot shot competition, Mikan lay-ups, and 3 on 3 games.

  • KidCam Camps at First United Methodist Church

    Hailed as the "biggest, baddest rock camp around," kids get the opportunity to work with professional musicians and then perform in a rock orchestra. The camp, which runs the week of June 25, is divided into specific groups per instrument: bass, drums, guitar, keyboard, vocals. There's even a week for Little Rockers the week of June 18.

  • Culture Camp at the Acadian Cultural Center
    Become a Junior Ranger, explore the National Park Service, learn about Louisiana's culture and music in a hands-on environment. The center is located at 501 Fisher Road in Lafayette. There are two sessions for children ages 6-8 for $30: June 4-8 and June 25-29. There are two other sessions for children ages 9-11 for $60: June 11-15 and June 18-22.
