Suspect Arrested In St. Martin Parish Home Invasion

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested a suspect for a Feb. 11 home invasion in Broussard.

Sheriff's spokesperson Maj. Ginny Higgins reported 27-year-old Garret Andrus, of St. Martinville, is behind bars at the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on charges of home invasion. The investigation remains open for incidents similar to the Duchamp Road home invasion that earned Andrus the current jail time.

His bond was set at $50,000.
