A Tennessee man will be extradited to St. Martin Parish from Kentucky for theft involving vending machines in Kentucky and in Acadiana.

Sheriff's Spokesperson Maj. Ginny Higgins said David Roy Price was arrested in connection with several vending machine thefts near Cecilia, Breaux Bridge, Broussard and Youngsville.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives determined Price, a drifter from Tennessee, targeted businesses around St. Martin Parish.

He was arrested today in Mayfield, Ky. for crimes similar to the ones he was committing here in Acadiana. He will be extradited back to St. Martin Parish at a later date.

Warrants for Price's arrest were issued for the following charges:

  • Theft over $750.00
  • Criminal Damage To Coin Operated Devices
