Summer is in full swing, and I was reflecting on some of the reasons I am ever so grateful to be here in Acadiana on this beautiful day! Even though it's hot as heck outside, we pretty much have great weather and fun things to do year round. A list of things that are close to my heart are below, and I just wanted to share. I love living here, and it's the people and places in Acadiana that make me happy. Here's to a spectacular rest of the year, y'all!

  • International Rice Festival in Crowley
  • Driving over the beautiful Atchafalaya Basin
