Tip Leads To Drug Arrest Of Lafayette Man In Arnaudville
The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office arrested an man yesterday after a tip led to an investigation into drug activity on Coteau Rodaire Road.
St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Major Ginny Higgins says that narcotics agents found 51-year-old Daryl Savoie of Lafayette in possession of Methamphetamine and Cocaine that has a street value of around $14,000.
Narcotics officers also seized a Mercedes sports car as part of the drug arrest.
Savoie is facing the following charges:
- Possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS over 28 grams (Methamphetamine)
- Possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (Cocaine)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
After he was arrested, Savoie was booked into the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office.
