Former LSU receiver Travin Dural has hit a road bump is his bid to make the regular season roster of the New Orleans Saints.

A former prep star at Breaux Bridge High School, Dural was put on the team's non-football injury list on Wednesday, along with defensive tackle Devaroe Lawrence.

Despite being put on the non-football injury list, both players still count on the active 90-man roster and can practice as soon as they are medically cleared.

The exact nature of the injuries are undisclosed.

Dural signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft.

Also a track standout at Breaux Bridge, Dural caught 42 passes for 902 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior in high school, before signing with LSU.

Battling injuries throughout his time in college, Dural accumulated 100 catches for 1,716 yards and 13 touchdowns over his 4 years at LSU, including 28 receptions for 280 yards and one score as a senior in 2016.

The 6-foot-1, 202-pound Dural will turn 24 in October.
