A fugitive wanted for first-degree murder in Lafayette aided Jefferson Parish law enforcement with his own arrest today.

Lafayette Police spokesperson Cpl. Paul Mouton reported that Kendrick Anthony Fobb, wanted for the Duval Street shooting that occurred on Monday, was arrested by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's deputies when he walked into the sheriff's office in Harvey not to turn himself in, but to pay an outstanding fine.

When employees at the sheriff's office processed Fobb's payment, they also checked to see if there were any warrants issued under his name. The Lafayette Police issued a warrant for Fobb's arrest yesterday afternoon for fatally shooting Christopher Isaac at the latter's Lafayette home early Monday morning.

One of three suspects wanted in this case has been arrested. Lafayette Police arrested 33-year-old Albert Sampy of Lafayette Wednesday, but  Dontae Roy, wanted for principal to first-degree murder in the same incident, remains at large. Roy's last known address is listed as being in Lake Charles.
