The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns have climbed a few spots in the latest college softball ratings percentage index (RPI) poll, which were released on Monday.

Louisiana, who is currently 23-5 on the season, including a perfect 6-0 Sun Belt Conference record, ranks number 38 this week, which is a three-spot jump from last week.

The Cajuns, who swept a three-game conference series from South Alabama last weekend, travels to Statesboro, Georgia this weekend, to take on the Georgia Southern Eagles in a three-game conference set.

Washington is the top team in the RPI rankings, followed by Arizona, Oregon, Florida, and Auburn in the top 5.

6-10 consists of Florida St., Alabama, Baylor, Texas A&M, and UCLA.

Minnesota, LSU, Tennessee, California, and Kentucky are at 11-15, while Oklahoma, James Madison, Georgia, South Carolina, and Michigan round out the top 20.

Ohio St., Utah, Wisconsin, Texas, and Arkansas are in the 21-25 spots, respectively.

Texas St. is the highest ranked Sun Belt Conference school, checking in at #34, followed by Louisiana (#38), South Alabama (#63), Georgia St. (#64), Coastal Carolina (#71), UTA (#93), ULM (#101), Troy (#106), Georgia Southern (#114), and Appalachian St. (#181).
