Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns softball team has fallen a few spots in the latest ESPN.COM/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll, which was released on Tuesday.

Louisiana, who went 4-2 in the 31st Louisiana Classics at Lamson Park over the weekend, fell from #11, their preseason ranking, to #18 this week.

The Cajuns, who scored two victories over DePaul, along with one win over Iowa St. and Ball St., dropped two games to Southern Miss on Sunday.

UL returns to action on Friday, playing host to the 4th-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in a big three-game, weekend, non-conference series.

Game times are scheduled for Friday at 5 o'clock, and at 1 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Florida Gators are the new top-ranked team in this week's poll, followed by the Auburn Tigers, Florida St. Seminoles, Alabama, and the UCLA Bruins to round out the top five.

The defending national champions, the Oklahoma Sooners, who lost twice last week, fell from the top spot to number six this week, while Oregon, LSU, Washington, and Michigan complete the top ten.

At 11-15 in this week's poll, it's Arizona, Georgia, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Utah, with James Madison, Texas A&M, Louisiana, Missouri, and South Florida at 16-20.

Finally, at 21-25, it's Arizona St., California, Kentucky, Baylor, and Pittsburgh.
