Where can you find UL sports on the radio this weekend?

With baseball, softball, and men’s/women’s basketball all overlapping this weekend, it’s the busiest time of the year for Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun athletics.

Due to all the activity, there will be a couple of tweaks in the radio coverage.


 

Softball

The 18th-ranked Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun softball team plays host to the 4th-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in a big three-game, weekend, non-conference series this weekend at Lamson Park.

Game Times:

  • Friday - 5pm
  • Saturday - 1pm
  • Sunday - 1pm

You can hear all three games on ESPN 1420 and espn1420.com, beginning with the pregame, 15 minutes prior to first-pitch each day.


 

Baseball

The 16th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajun baseball team opens their 2017 regular season schedule this weekend, playing three games in Hammond, Louisiana against Southeastern Louisiana, Murray State and Hofstra.

Game Times:

  • Friday vs. Southeastern Louisiana - 6pm
  • Saturday vs. Murray St. - 1pm
  • Sunday  vs Hofstra - 5pm

Friday night's broadcast will be joined in time for first pitch at 6 o'clock, while the pregame show on both Saturday and Sunday will begin 30 minutes prior to first-pitch.


 

Women's Basketball

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun women’s basketball team returns to the hardwood on Saturday afternoon, when they travel to Monroe, Louisiana to take on the ULM Warhawks in a Sun Belt Conference affair that will represent the opening game of a women’s/men’s doubleheader.

  • Saturday at noon

Men's Basketball

Finally, Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun men’s basketball team, in the back end of that roundball twin bill, will play the ULM Warhawks in a Sun Belt Conference match-up.
