The Conjuring is one of my all - time favorite horror movies. It doesn't have any gore or violence, but a super - creepy atmosphere, soundtrack, and tons of scares. Like the first movie, The Conjuring 2 is based on a paranormal investigation by Ed and Lorraine Warren, best known for their work on the Amityville case.
