Woman Sought For Help With Mysterious Death Case

The Lafayette Police Department is asking the public to help identify a woman wanted for questioning in the death of 24-year-old Neil McDaniel.

The woman, captured by surveillance video, reportedly brought the unresponsive McDaniel to a Lafayette hospital’s emergency room in a silver 2006 Toyota Camry. She then left the hospital before anyone could obtain any information from her. Detectives are awaiting autopsy results to determine cause of death. Call Lafayette Police if you know any information on the woman’s identity or McDaniel’s condition.
