Youngsville Man Accused Of Rape

Scott police arrested 36-year-old Ryan Fultz of Youngsville for allegedly raping a woman in Scott.

The victim told police, she met Fultz while at a bar in Scott. Fultz, the victim and others reportedly car pooled to another bar in Broussard. Once Fultz drove the victim back to her vehicle in Scott, the suspect sexually assaulted her.

She was able to escape and drive herself to a local hospital, where law enforcement obtained details of the attack.

Fultz was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center for forcible rape.
