The College Football Playoff National Championship will be on the line on Monday night, when the top-ranked Clemson Tigers take on the second-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.

Kickoff time is scheduled for 7:30 pm (central time) at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The game will air on ESPN.

Clemson, at 14-0, comes in as the only undefeated team in college football, after winning their second ACC title in 24 years. They advanced to the championship game with a 37-17 victory over No. 4 Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl.

The Tigers are playing for their first national title since 1981.

Alabama has won 11-consecutive games, following an early season loss to Ole Miss, defeating opponents by an average of more than 23 points-per-game, including a 38-0 Cotton Bowl rout of No. 3 Michigan State.

The Crimson Tide, champions of the SEC, is currently 12-1, and will be vying for their fourth championship in the last seven years.

Offensively, Alabama is averaging 34.4 points, 423.8 total yards, 204.4 rushing yards, and 219.4 passing yards per game, while allowing 13.4 points, 256.8 total yards, 70.8 rushing yards, and 186.0 passing yards a contest, defensively.

The Crimson Tide is led by junior running back Derrick Henry, the 2015 Heisman Trophy winner, who has rushed for 2,115 yards and 25 touchdowns this season, leading the nation in both categories.

The Tigers are averaging 38.4 points per game, along with 512.0 yards, including 283.4 passing yards and 228.6 rushing yards, while allowing 20.0 points, and 301.6 total yards, including 177.2 passing yards and 124.4 rushing yards.

Clemson is paced by sophomore quarterback Deshaun Watson, who has thrown for 3,699 yards and 31 touchdowns, while rushing for another 1,032 yards and 12 scores.

Alabama leads the all-time series, 12-3, and has won the last 12 meetings.
