Breaux Bridge Man Arrested Following Single Vehicle Crash Into Breaux Bridge Home
A deputy with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a crashed vehicle last night at a residence in the 1400 block of Zin Zin Road in Breaux Bridge.
Upon arrival, the Deputy learned that the driver of a white Ford F-150 was traveling northbound on Zin Zin Road when he traveled off the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a residence.
The driver was identified as 26-year-old Rusty Veroine.
He was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The home was occupied at the time of the crash but no injuries were reported by the occupants of the home.
Following the release of the suspect from the hospital, he was arrested and charged as follows:
- LA. RS-14:98-Operating A Vehicle While Intoxicated
- LA. R.S.-32:58-Careless Operation
- LA. R.S.-Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property
Following his arrest, he was transported and booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.
