Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun men’s basketball team returns to the hardwood on Monday evening, when coach Bob Marlin’s squad travels to Little Rock, Arkansas to take on the Little Rock Trojans in Sun Belt Conference action.

The game will mark the second game of a conference-opening two-game road trip for Louisiana, who returns home on January 7, when they entertain ULM.

Tipoff time is scheduled for 8 o'clock.

The Cajuns, who lost to Arkansas St. on Saturday, 74-71, have won 10 of their last 12, and are 10-4, overall, and 0-1 in Sun Belt Conference play.

Louisiana is outscoring the opposition, 85.6/72.0, and outshooting them, 48%/46%, while also holding down a 40.4/31.9 rebound advantage.

The Cajuns are paced by junior guard Frank Bartley, who is averaging 16.1 points and 3.9 rebounds, and junior forward Bryce Washington, who is averaging 14.5 points, to go along with 11.8 rebounds.

Little Rock, who defeated ULM, 79-75, in overtime, on Saturday, will enter the match-up with an overall record of 10-4, along with a 1-0 league mark..

The Trojans are outscoring opponents, 74.7/68.6, and outshooting them, 46%/43%, while holding down a 36.2/32.3 rebounding advantage.

Little Rock is led by senior guard Marcus Johnson, Jr., who is averaging 13.6 points and 3.0 rebounds-per-game, and senior forward Jalen Jackson, who is at 11.4 and 4.7, respectively.
