Cajun Comic Relief XXVI was held last night at the Heymann Center in Lafayette and as always was a grand time celebrating our great Cajun culture with lots of laughs.

Every year the show benefits a great cause and this year that happened to be the Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana.

I had the great pleasure of Co-Emceeing the event with KLFY TV-10's Jeff Horchak. The night was filled with laughter as three amazing Cajun comics entertained a packed house for over two hours.

There were several highlights during the evening including the induction of two wonderful gentlemen into the Cajun Comic Hall of Fame -- Kent Gonsoulin and Jim Richard.

However, one of the funnier moments that occurred even before the comics hit the stage, happened during the pre-show musical entertainment. Jamie Bergeron & the Kickin' Cajuns provided said entertainment and they were on point as always.

And towards the end of their set, a few friends decided to join them on stage for Jamie's hit "Check Liver Light".

In this video, you'll see the first ever time cows performed on stage during a Jamie Bergeron show. History folks...and we can say we were there!
