Church Point Issues Boil Water Advisory

Due to widespread power outages, the City of Church Point has issued a Boil Water Advisory until further notice.

Authorities recommend all water meant for consumption be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute in order to kill any harmful bacteria that may reside in the water supply.

A Boil Water Advisory is a public health order issued by public health authorities when a city’s water supply could possibly be contaminated.
