Bill Cosby has been charged with sexual assault. The criminal charge in Pennsylvania is the first against Cosby over his conduct with women, although he's facing defamation and sex abuse lawsuits in three states.

The charge of aggravated indecent assault, a felony, comes more than a decade after a former Temple University employee told police Cosby drugged and violated her at his home near Philadelphia. A previous district attorney had declined to charge Cosby in 2005. The 78-year-old comedian previously said under oath that he had consensual sexual contact with the woman. He's expected to be arraigned this afternoon.
