Country music has just lost a giant, literally and figuratively. Don Williams has passed away at the age of 78.

In 2010, Williams was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Don Williams was dubbed "The Gentle Giant" because of his huge, booming voice. He had a string of hits such as "I Wouldn't Want to Live If You Didn't Love Me", "We Should Be Together", "I Believe in You", "I'm Just A Country Boy" and a slew of other hits.

Don Williams reportedly passed away after a short illness.
