Early Morning Fire Quickly Handled By Lafayette Firefighters

Lafayette Firefighters responded to a house fire at 325 S. Pierce at 7:30am today and discovered smoke coming from the roof. A small fire was discovered in the attic above the backdoor. The home sustained minor damage. No one was home at the time of the fire and the cause is still under investigation.
