
UPDATE: Missing Elderly Man Found Safe
UPDATE: Jake Broussard, a resident of Garden View assisted living who went missing last Thursday, has been found safe.

Garden View Assisted Living in Lafayette is asking the public's help in finding a resident who went missing from the facility Thursday afternoon.
Garden View tells KATC that 81-year old Jake Broussard was last seen on Thursday, August 31, 2017, around 3:30 p.m. at the center, located at 601 Verot School Road in Lafayette.
Broussard was reportedly wearing tan coveralls and a white baseball cap.
Broussard's last appearance on Thursday was at the 6:00 p.m. Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton, LA on Thursday. Broussard regularly uses his white 2011 Toyota Avalon for errands, license plate # VTP134.
Anyone with information or who may have seen Mr. Broussard or his vehicle are asked to call the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office or Garden View Assisted Living at 337-237-5542.
