Entergy Outage Planned for Portions of Vermilion Parish

Entergy has sent out a notification of a planned outage for Vermilion Parish.

One Entergy customer in the Abbeville area posted a screenshot of a notice received from the electric provider announcing a planned outage for Thursday, January 28th.

According to the notification, the planned outage will begin at 10pm on Thursday, January 28th, and is expected to last until 2am on Friday, January 29th.

The reason given for the planned outage is a "planned circuit upgrade".

From the comments on the post, it appears that not every Entergy customer received this warning, only those who had signed up for the notifications.
