Fire Set By Paul Breaux Middle School Student
The Lafayette Fire Department quickly put out a small fire Monday morning at Paul Breaux Middle School. Our news partner KATC quoted Lafayette Parish School System spokesperson Mona Bernard as saying a student set a paper dispenser on fire in one of the boy's bathrooms. There were no injuries and damage was minor.
The student was taken into custody and released to his parents.
