Franklin Parish High School Football Player Dies

The Franklin Parish area is mourning the death of a Franklin Parish High School student after a Friday night football game.

The Advocate says the player, 16-year-old Tyrell Cameron, was hit during a punt return play.

Cameron was taken to a hospital, but he later died from his injuries.

The young man was a freshman at the school.
