Intersection With Verot School Road To Close For Work

The work had to be postponed due to weather, but now the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development says that Briarmeadow Drive at Verot School Road will be closed for some work in that area.

The work, and the closure, are expected to get started this Thursday at 7 o'clock in the morning and hopefully wrap up at 6 o'clock that night.

Crews will be paving at the intersection, and that's why the closure is necessary.

This project is part of the larger ongoing project to widen Verot School Road.

DOTD says drivers can use Steen Drive and East Farrel Road instead of the that intersection while the work is being completed.
