We all have our favorite supermarkets, and now, America has spoken! Our top pick is right here in Louisiana!

Not everyone will share the same favorite grocery store, that's just human nature. We're simply sharing the latest information based on recent surveys.

So, how does a supermarket earn the title of 'America's Favorite'? What criteria determine the winner?

The American Customer Satisfaction Index gathered data through thousands of email surveys sent to randomly selected customers between January and December 2024. These surveys asked participants to rate their experiences with major supermarkets and smaller grocery stores based on factors like store convenience, product availability, staff helpfulness, mobile app performance, and order accuracy. All these factors contributed to a single satisfaction score for ranking.

Now that we've covered that, which supermarket in 2025 has claimed the title of America's Favorite Supermarket? And where can it be found in Louisiana?

Trader Joe's, known for its unique and affordable private-label products, tied for the top spot in customer satisfaction with a score of 84 and, according to Yahoo!, is being called 'America's New Favorite Supermarket.' While Louisiana doesn't have a Publix, we do have Trader Joe's locations in Baton Rouge and Metairie, but none in Lake Charles.

The American Customer Satisfaction Index is a great way to measure America's favorite supermarkets overall, but that doesn't mean it matches everyone's personal favorite.

Here in Louisiana, plenty of folks may prefer Rouses Market, Albertsons, or even Walmart, and there's no wrong choice!

The results are in! Trader Joe's and Publix have tied for first place in customer satisfaction for 2025. We already have a Trader Joe's, so maybe it's time for a Publix next! Unfortunately, we don't have one in Southwest Louisiana yet, but who knows? If we're nice enough, maybe someone will build us one!

What are your thoughts on the latest findings from the American Customer Satisfaction Index? Do you have a favorite grocery store that you prefer over Trader Joe's? We'd love to hear from you! Join the conversation by messaging us on the app.

15 Discontinued Snack Chips In Louisiana In 2025

Frito-Lay makes some of the most popular snacks in America, and it seems that every year, they introduce new twists on their top brands that feature unique flavors.

It can be fun to venture out of your comfort zone and try new things and those new things can sometimes become new favorites. However, there is no guarantee that the new snacks will stick around for very long, which can be disappointing.

Sporked recently uncovered 15 snacks that Frito-Lay plans on discontinuing in 2025, and they include some of my favorites. If some of your favorites are on this list, you better stock up if you still see them on store shelves and enjoy them while you can.

Perhaps if fans of snacks being discontinued protest, Frito-Lay will change its mind.
