Easter is a special holiday celebrated by many people around the world. It marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ and is often seen as a time of hope, renewal, and new beginnings. Families celebrate in many ways, including attending church services, decorating eggs, having Easter egg hunts, and spending time together. It’s also a time when spring is in full bloom, making it a joyful season filled with bright colors, sweet treats, and fun traditions for both kids and adults.

Families across Southwest Louisiana will have plenty of chances to celebrate Easter this year! From egg hunts to face painting, and even an 80s-themed adults-only party, there’s something for everyone. Here's a look at the Easter events happening in Calcasieu Parish in 2025, all written at an 8th-grade reading level.
