Rabbit Festival Gets Underway Today Through Saturday In Lake Charles

One of the biggest festivals in Southwest Louisiana gets underway starting today and runs through Saturday, March 22, 2025, in South Lake Charles. It is the return of the Iowa Rabbit Festival which takes place on the grounds of the Burton complex.

It gets underway tonight with the huge carnival, which will be held in the parking lot of the Burton Coliseum and feature a ton of amusement park rides and food. For only $30, you can buy an all-you-can-ride wristband so the kids and you can ride all the rides you want as many times as you want from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Get your team together and enter the Rabbit Festival Cookoff that takes place this Saturday morning, March 22, 2025, in the Burton Barn complete with live music and big cash prizes for 1st through 3rd place winners. Plus you can win cash for the best decorated booth and if you are voted the People's Choice, you win money for that too. Enter HERE.

Then get ready for the Rabbit festival music lineup which is jam-packed with a ton of your favorite Local and regional Louisiana artists inside the Burton Coliseum. The music starts on Friday evening, March 21st, and continues for two straight days.
