See Inside Of Louisiana’s Newest Cajun Restaurant & Dance Hall
Louisiana is known for its Cajun cuisine and people from all over the world come to the South Louisiana area to try it out. Whether it's a gumbo, boiled crawfish, shrimp, etouffee, or many other dishes we are known for, people flock to a great Cajun restaurant to try it out.
Louisiana is also known for its specific type of music from Cajun to Swamp Pop to Zydeco music and folks love to go have a drink, eat some great Louisiana seafood, and dance it off to their favorite Louisiana artists.
For some time now, Southwest Louisiana has been missing this type of restaurant. We have all had to travel about an hour or so to get that type of atmosphere where you can waltz to your favorite Cajun song with your honey while also enjoying the great Louisiana food.
But now, the wait is over as a brand new Cajun cuisine restaurant complete with a massive dance hall has been built from the ground up and is opening right here in Southwest Louisiana this week.
T-Dougs Cajun Cuisine has built a brand new state-of-the-art 8,000-square-foot Cajun restaurant with a massive dance hall complete with a big stage and dance floor. Here, you can enjoy some great Louisiana seafood and steaks while also dancing and watching your favorite Louisiana music artists each weekend.
The new restaurant is located at 15978 Highway 171 in Ragley, Louisiana next door to Singer Supply and Hurricane Outdoors. The new restaurant features an 8000 square foot floor plan with a luxury Bar, a dining area in the front that will accommodate over 100 people, and a huge dance hall with a massive bar and stage with lights and a sound system.
We had a chance to visit the new T-Dougs last Friday night for its soft opening where Bernie Alan & Night Train performed live and we snapped some pictures of inside the new place. Check these out.
