Felony Arrests In Nacogdoches County May 17th – May 23rd

The following citizens were arrested in Nacogdoches County, and sent to the Nacogdoches County Jail between May 17th and 23rd, 2025. Most of the arrests are attributed to the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office and the Nacogdoches Police Department.

What was shaping up to be a boring week of normal drug, assault, and evading arrest has lent us a few noteworthy people who just went that extra mile to get the book thrown at them.

According to a Facebook post by the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office today, Colton Lee Dickerson, 30, was booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail this morning. This early bird started his rampage at 5 AM.

Ever just get mad and want to watch the world burn? Dickerson chose violence in Chireno this morning and went wild.

He started small, smashing a window at someone's house, then within the hour, he had set a car and a shed on fire, and even tried to burn down the school's police car.  Dickerson then rammed his car into the high school's front door.

He proceeded to hit another house's porch with his car and tried to set it on fire. A homeowner in the area shot at him and missed; luckily, the NCSO showed up and caught him. He was found with drugs in the car and was likely intoxicated.

It was one chaotic hour this morning in Chireno.
