Felony Arrests In Nacogdoches County April 5 – 11
Two Lufkin men are in the Nacogdoches County Jail and won't be released anytime soon. Jessie Dale Cashion, 44, of Lufkin, is being held on a $2 million bond.
According to KTRE, Cashion was arrested after planning to murder someone in Nacogdoches. A concerned individual called the police to put a stop to a possible in-progress murder plot.
At around 9:40 A.M., Cashion was found at the scene with a gun, and the victim was meant to arrive shortly. An investigation revealed that the two had previous business dealings.

Cashion did not succeed in following through with the murder, which is why it is considered a second-degree felony murder charge, and not first, because the intended victim survived.
