What Traffic Improvements Do Shreveport Drivers Want to See the Most

I hit a pothole the other day in southeast Shreveport and worried about my tire for 2 days. During these hot summer months, not only do we have to deal with the regular potholes, but we have to deal with pavement blowups from the heat.

What Parts of Shreveport Have the Most Potholes?

There is really no way to judge that. I see them everywhere and I see complaints on social media from all across town. My phone will even blow up if there's a really bad one. This is a pretty big problem for local residents when you ask them what needs to be done in Shreveport.

But part of the problem is that Shreveport is not responsible for all of the roads. The state maintains some of them and the city takes care of some. And many roads not in the city limits are maintained by Caddo Parish. The city has created the "Report a Concern" website where you can let them know about the problem and you can find out right away who is responsible for the area you are worried about.

But KEEL News asked listeners to tell us what are some things they would like to see to make our travel through the city better. Hundreds of people responded and you might be surprised by some of the answers.
