Snoop Dogg Jams with Shreveport's Dan Smalley

If you love live music and are a country music fan in Shreveport, you have probably seen Dan Smalley perform a time or two. Dan was raised in Shreveport and made his way to Nashville, but before he left for the Music City, he played at just about every venue in the Ark-La-Tex. Dan also hosts a Christmas Show every year at Louisiana Grandstand in Shreveport. The show has become known as a "hometown" show, and Dan brings in a bunch of his very talented friends from all over for his "Country Christmas to Remember" show.

The Shreveport Singer Was Surprised When He Spotted Snoop Dogg in the Crowd

The inside of the bar looks wildly familiar, and because of Snoop's comment about "losers," it leads us to believe they were at Winners and Losers, a popular bar in Nashville, Tennessee. At first, you just see Snoop vibing to a very country version of "Gin and Juice," then Dan Smalley asks Snoop if he wants to take the stage. Although the video may make it look like this was a planned performance, we have to remember these folks are all genius musicians and performers. Before Snoop takes over singing, he asks Dan Smalley where he wants him to start, We love us some teamwork on stage, no matter the stage.

Snoop Dogg Took the Stage and Brought the Energy Alongside Shreveport's Dan Smalley

Dan Smalley claims he had heard rumors that Snoop Dogg was in town shooting a video with Earnest, and he thought how cool it would be to spot him in the crowd. According to Smalley, famous artists like Kid Rock and Post Malone regularly pop in and hang out. Smalley claims that there were maybe 15 people at the bar when he noticed they all pulled out their phones; that was when he realized Snoop was in the crowd vibing along. "There was one more verse, and I looked at Snoop and said you wanna get that verse?" Of course, Snoop obliged.
