LSU’s Stars Gear Up For The 2026 NFL Draft Combine
The road between college football and the NFL runs through Indianapolis. That's where this year's NFL Draft Combine will be hosted for a new class of elite athletes.
The 2026 NFL Combine will be officially held from February 23rd through March 2nd. Players will participate in various drills, as team executives evaluate the top prospects.
Tons of Offensive Tigers Invited To Combine
The offensive side of the ball will be heavily represented by former LSU standouts heading into this crucial evaluation period. The distinguished list of collegiate invitees is anchored by Quarterback Garrett Nussmeier.
But its a remarkably deep roster of pass catchers that has brought a lot of purple and gold attention to the Combine. The Tigers are sending more wide receivers than any other school to this year's Combine. With a total of four wide outs that will be making the trip.
Defensive Playmakers Ready For Scouting Drills
The offensive players won't be alone. Several impact players from the defensive unit are scheduled to perform in front of league executives...with a prime opportunity to significantly improve their overall draft stock. The aggressive defensive front heading to the event features EDGE Patrick Payton, EDGE Jack Pyburn, and Linebacker Harold Perkins.
The defensive secondary will also have a strong presence during the specialized positional drill portions of the weeklong gathering. Elite defensive backs Cornerback Mansoor Delane and Safety A.J. Haulcy will officially round out the complete list of participants making the journey to the combine. The scouts will be watching those secondary drills closely, with LSU's Mansoor Delane being in a position to possibly crash the First Round party iwht a good Combine.

Following these vital workouts, athletes will have additional pro days and private sessions to showcase their skills for professional scouts. Currently, LSU is on the list of programs that have not released the date for their pro day workouts.
All of these intense evaluations will ultimately culminate when the First Round of the NFL Draft begins on April 23rd.
