(Lafayette, Louisiana) - A Lafayette meteorologist has crossed the street and has joined the weather team at KLFY News 10.

Adam Olivier, who was once employed at News 15, announced that he has joined the weather team at KLFY TV 10.

Olivier was part of the massive layoffs at News 15 months ago, and did some part-time work in Baton Rouge, but he has returned full-time to Acadiana television.

Adam says in his announcement, "I’m so grateful for this incredible opportunity to continue being a part of the Acadiana community!'

You can catch Adam forecasting the weather on the weekends, while filling in during the week when the time calls.

We congratulate Adam as we know he will do great at KLFY News 10 when it comes to keeping us informed on the weather in the area.
