Louisiana News Reporter to Debut as Professional Wrestler
(Lafayette, Louisiana) - A news reporter in Lafayette is set to debut as a professional wrestler, and his in-ring name will be Adam Zane.
As a kid, I grew up watching and loving professional wrestling, so before I go any further, I must admit I am a bit jealous of this debut.
KLFY News 10 Sports reports that one of their reporters will soon put down the news microphone and lace up the boots for his professional wrestling debut.
The reporter who will soon step between the ropes as a pro wrestler is Zane Hogue. You have probably seen him on KLFY TV-10 reporting from the streets in Acadiana, and soon you may see him in the ring.
Hogue tells his colleague at News 10 that he has always loved pro wrestling since the age of 8 years old, and soon he will get to live out his dream as he'll make his debut in the ring on May 31st.
Like so many of us who grew up watching professional wrestling, Hogue says he became invested in the sport by watching the characters come to life. And yes, sometimes these professional wrestlers are bigger than life, to some.
