Kid in Louisiana Says He Saw Bigfoot While Playing Outdoors
(KTDY) - Through the years, we've heard several stories of people reportedly seeing Bigfoot in Louisiana, and we have another testimonial to share.
Bigfoot researchers and Bigfoot enthusiasts have often combed the woods of the "Bayou State" looking for evidence of the elusive creature, but to no avail.
However, that hasn't stopped some from reporting encounters with the mysterious creature. Is Bigfoot in Louisiana? Some say, yes.
A few years ago, we reported here that a woman claims to have seen Bigfoot south of Lake Charles while working in her yard. She said she encountered the mysterious creature on her property, close to a wooded area.
Other encounters in Louisiana include the story of two hunters allegedly being chased out of the woods by Bigfoot. In a viral video from years ago, the hunters say they feared for their lives, but the creature let them live as they retreated to their truck.
So, is Bigfoot in Louisiana? I can tell you, years ago, I was addicted to the TV series "Finding Bigfoot," and our state often came up for many reasons.
The researchers on the show often cited Louisiana as a prime place for the elusive creature to survive. I recall them always citing the amount of wooded areas in Louisiana and the abundance of wildlife in "Sportsman's Paradise." The researchers would often note on the show that the swamps provided a perfect habitat for a creature that did not want to be seen or found.
And while Bigfoot's existence is still a mystery for many, one young kid says he saw Bigfoot in 1979, near Fort Polk, Louisiana.
A social media post by Bigfoot Evidence says that the kid was playing outside near a creek when he saw the large creature approaching him. According to the kid, the creature stood tall on two feet and was covered in thick, dark hair.
A social media report from Louisiana says the kid retreated to his house and was not harmed in the encounter; however, he stands by what he allegedly saw that day. Unlike other encounters reported worldwide, the alleged creature in Louisiana did not make any loud noises as it approached the kid.
So, is Bigfoot in Louisiana? Who knows? I'll say this: if the elusive creature is here, today's technology may help us find out sooner rather than later. And yes, hunting season is in full swing here, which means more eyes are out in the woods now, so let's wait and see.
