(Baton Rouge, Louisiana) - Things got very chippy before the LSU and Oklahoma game Saturday afternoon, and it did not happen on the field.

As kickers were warming up before the final regular-season game for both teams, a ball for LSU went into the stands, and that's when a few LSU ball boys went to retrieve the ball.

Well, when they got to the ball, an Oklahoma fan refused to return it to LSU, and a scuffle ensued in the stands. You can see the Oklahoma fan fighting to keep the ball, and he ultimately ends up flipping one of the guys wearing LSU colors, then throwing the ball even further up into the stands.

You can hear other Oklahoma fans urging the guy just to give the ball back, but that might have been too easy for him. And this leads me to ask this question once again: Why are fans at sporting events behaving so rudely these days?

In any case, here's the viral video from the stands during pregame warmups.

Sadly, LSU lost 17-13 to end its regular season schedule.
