New Orleans Saints Fan Shows Up to Lafayette Restaurant With Bag Over Head
(Lafayette, Louisiana) - The New Orleans Saints are struggling this year on the football field, and fans may have seen enough.
The Saints are currently 1-8 on the season, and they were demolished by the Los Angeles Rams this past weekend, 34-10. Sadly, this season looks to be a wash as the Saints are dead last in their division, and at this point, they may be playing for the number one draft pick in next year's draft.
With all of that said, Saints fans are among the most loyal in the NFL, but even they have had enough, as some are starting to show up at games with brown bags over their heads. Yes, this is a resemblance to what you may have seen in the '80s and early '90s when the New Orleans Saints were not very good.
Knowing that the Saints were likely going to struggle against an outstanding Rams team, one Saints fan in Lafayette, Louisiana, brought his own brown bag to a local restaurant to watch the game, and he was not ashamed to place iit over his head. At the same time, he sat at the bar during the game this past Sunday afternoon.
My friend Julie Darce Mire was at the Chimes restaurant this past Sunday when she saw this Saints fan sitting there, and he looked miserable. Julie notes that this photo was taken on Sunday, so Halloween was a thing of the past, and this was not a costume.
Check out this Saints fan just sitting there in misery as his team took on the Rams in Los Angeles. We think many Saints fans can relate, buddy.
The New Orleans Saints' next game, on November 9, 2025, is against the Carolina Panthers, who are 5-4 this season, and that game will be played in Carolina.
