This year we officially celebrate Mardi Gras in Louisiana on March 4, 2025. However, we may be enjoying the day a little earlier as the forecast calls for some rough weather in the heart of the state by midday.

KATC TV-3 Meteorologist Daniel Phillips says that the storms will arrive in the mid-to-late afternoon with the window opening around noon and going on until about 6:00 pm.
