The 2023 Festival International de Louisiane music lineup was revealed yesterday afternoon at a premiere party at Warehouse 535 and a pretty big name will be a part of the festivities.

Lafayette's own Lauren Daigle will be headlining this year's festival. (Date and time have yet to be posted.)

The big announcement was made yesterday in addition to revealing the 2023 official Festival artwork, pin, and poster.

Lauren Daigle will be a huge draw at this year's Festival and undoubtedly be on the biggest stage at Parc International.

Daigle has won two Grammy Awards, seven GMA Dove Awards, five Billboard Music Awards, two American Music Awards and has had four No. 1 singles on both the Billboard Christian Airplay and Hot Christian Songs chart.

The complete music schedule has not been posted in detail on Festival International's website, but the entire roster of talent that will be here has been posted on https://www.festivalinternational.org/musique.

This year's Festival will run from Wednesday, April 26 through Sunday, April 30, 2023.

As you can see in the video above, another highlight of this year's Festival will be a special celebration of Zydeco music featuring Rockin' Dopsie, Jr. and several special friends.

Also appearing will be Gary Porter, Jr. and previously announced favorites Angélique Kidjo of Benin and Rocky Dawuni of Ghana.

Remember, Festival International is free to attend and one of the ways that it remains that way is because of the hundreds of volunteers that help out. If you'd like to sign up for a shift, visit FestivalInternational.org/volunteer.
