As of yesterday, Lafayette is home to another new restaurant as Ninety9 Bistro and Bar opened its doors in River Ranch.

The new eatery is located in the former Zoë's Kitchen space at 201 Settlers Trace, Suite 2014.

Ninety9 Bistro and Bar held its grand opening yesterday.

The new restaurant is a fast-casual concert focused on lunch and dinner. They offer a variety of small plates, creative salads, and artisan-made sandwiches, along with wine, craft beer, and cocktails.

And from the few pictures posted on the Ninety9 Bistro and Bar, it appears that they've done a nice job of re-imagining the space.

Walter Hildago, the owner of Ninety9 Bistro and Bar, also owns Pour Restaurant and Romacelli Bistro e Vino nearby. His other Pour Restaurant is in Sugar Mill Pond in Youngsville.

All three have been successful for years now.

We're looking forward to checking out this new restaurant. One reviewer so far thinks it's a home run.

What happened to Zoë's Kitchen?

You may recall that Zoë's Kitchen closed last fall along with many of the franchise's locations across the country after the company was acquired by Cava Restaurants.

Many of the locations were rebranded as Cava Grill, including three in Baton Rouge, but that wasn't the case for the Lafayette restaurant.
