Another Man Goes Missing in Downtown Baton Rouge
The Baton Rouge Police Department says a man last seen in Downtown Baton Rouge is now missing.
According to BRPD, Jody Bert, 44, who was last seen in the downtown area on March 22, 2023 around 12:45 am.
Bert is 6’0”, 220lbs has short hair, several tattoos on his left arm, and was last seen wearing blue jeans, dark colored hoodie, and red/white Adidas shoes.
Anyone having information on Bert's whereabouts is urged to contact the Missing Persons Division at (225) 389-3853 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
Just a few weeks ago, Nathan Millard went missing while in the Downtown Baton Rouge area and his body was found rolled up in plastic and a carpet days later, not far from the downtown area.
UPDATE: WBRZ reports, "Detectives were told Bert dropped his wife and children off at a downtown Baton Rouge hotel and then left to park his car. However, he did not return to the hotel. Police later found his vehicle in a downtown hotel parking garage along with his wallet and cell phone."
