Soul Haus Kitchen to Close Carencro Location After One Year of Service

Carencro, LA – After a year of serving soul food to the Carencro community, Soul Haus Kitchen has announced it will be closing its Carencro location later this month.

In a heartfelt message shared on social media, the locally owned restaurant confirmed that its final day of service at the Carencro location will be this Saturday, March 29. The owners cited financial challenges as the reason behind the closure.

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the difficult news that Soul Haus Kitchen in Carencro will be closing its doors,” the post reads. “After a year of serving this amazing community, financial challenges have led us to this tough decision.”

The closure marks the end of what the restaurant called a "
memorable chapter" filled with "community support, gratitude, and connection."

“We want to extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who supported us,” the post continues. “Your support has meant the world to us, and we are truly thankful for the memories we’ve made together.”

While the Carencro location will soon shutter, Soul Haus Kitchen is still open and operating at its original Lafayette location on West Congress Street. Owners encouraged loyal customers to continue showing their support there:
