Kellyanne Conway Wants Kavanaugh Accuser To Testify

This week should have been all about the committee vote to confirm Judge Kavanaugh to the US Supreme Court. The Trump nominee faced several days of tough questioning before California Senator Diane Feinstein turned the then-anonymous accuser's account over to federal authorities. Over the weekend, that accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, came forward. She claims that in high school, an intoxicated Brett Kavanaugh forced himself on her. The allegations go back more than 30 years.

Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway says the allegations should be heard.

Conway, who has been a reliable representative of the President's thinking, says that the allegations should be discussed in congressional testimony. The White House put out an official statement expressing a similar position. Conway joined Fox & Friends this morning:

The question that comes up most is the timing. Did Senator Feinstein and other Democrats know of these allegations when the initial hearings began? Does it matter?

These are all questions that will likely need to be answered before a vote happens.
