Lafayette Residents Upset After Seeing Swastika Scribbled Beneath Vermilion River Bridge [PHOTO]
The Department of Transportation and Development will be removing an anti-Semitic symbol from the Vermilion River Bridge on Pinhook after it sparked outrage among residents.
KLFY reported that at least a half-dozen viewers contacted their newsroom after noticing a swastika was scribbled beneath the bridge. In addition to those who were angry, other callers said they were simply heartbroken to see it happening in a city like Lafayette.
Chances are, this was some immature kid or a troll who loves to see people divided. I hope someone got them on camera because I'm almost certain the potential sentence of 6 months jail time and fines would make them think twice about putting their terrible "artwork" up again.
