Louisiana Man Charged with Meth Possession Says Ghost Planted the Drugs
Police in Monroe say a man called 911 to report an ax attack but when they got there he was found uninjured and in possession of meth.
Oh, and he said the drugs were planted by a ghost.
Michael L. Auttenberry is charged with giving a false police report and possession of a controlled substance.
Ouachita Parish Sheriff's deputies say that Auttenberry called authorities to report that he had been hit in the head with an ax. Once there, deputies found an uninjured Auttenberry cursing at people "obviously not there."
He claimed intruders were inside his home, which prompted deputies to search his place and discover the bag of meth. They also found meth on Auttenberry, who told them that it was planted by a ghost or intruder.
Hide ya kids, hide ya wife, they got intruders up in here!
